Dear side chick

you lit up at the sound of  his voice. You knew it was him before you heard his voice. How could  you not?  You had been waiting for his call ever since you gave him your number. This tall charming stranger had swept you off your feet. He was your one. Did you stop to think for a while if you were his one? That you were his missing part, the rib that all the while was waiting to reconnect  with his ? If you did, you could have pictured  me, his main chick.

As you sat at that restaurant in your floral dress and cheap heals looking all classy and real, fantasizing of how much his mum was going to love you, how good of a wife you were going to be. Did you know his second name? It was your first date (should i also say last date too) and you were already his wife? The effort you put to entice this tall charming stranger, whom your friends and family already knew.So as you waited for him, he was busy cooking me dinner trynna make me not suspect  that he had a date with you.

You see, as you sat with him looking uneasy, Thinking it was your beauty that made him uneasy he was thinking about me .I made him uneasy. When you were all excited when he gave you a smile and kept looking at the entrance, your mind running  wild that it was beacuse he couldn’t wait to take you home, it was me he was scared of. He worried about me showing up. The thought of losing me made him un easy.

When he lied about not taking you home, it was the realization of beautiful me home alone. Your pretty face looked awkward to him. Your charm couldn’t compare with mine. Nothing  could keep him to you. I thank you for being his wake up call, You made him remember who i was to him. I forgive you  for crushing so hard on the man who loves me. Don’t  beat yourself up for him not returning your calls or never calling since that day. You were good, it was not you but me, His love, his main chick.

Nice read on the “other woman.” Your choice of delivery was also unique and effective for me. I was able to visualize both women β€” the ingenue, thinking this was her time, and the solid stance of the wife.

As a man, I’m frankly baffled at women who knowingly go after a married man (though this girl may not have β€” not seasoned enough to look for the tell-tale discolored wedding band finger). If the man is so easily seduced from someone he has invested in through marriage, how will the side-chick not also be cheated on?

As the King of Siam said, “Is a puzzlement!”

    Good work!

And thank you for choosing to follow my work, as well.

Thankyou so much. Am glad you passed by, and yes its a puzzlement .Though like they say what goes around definitely comes back around, its karma i guess. Its just a matter of time before they too get married and it all catches up to them. Thankyou and was glad to follow yours as well.
